Product Photography Photographing products requires a specialist experience. This is particularly the case when the product needs to sell off the page. In other words the customer will not see the product physically before they purchase it. This is the case in mail order selling either in a catalogue, brochure or online. We consider the target market, ensure we understand the products function, it's material make-up and consider where it will be positioned in print or online. We will also consider the brand underwhich the product is sold and aim to present the product in a way which is appropriate to that brand. If required we may prop the product with complimentary objects and co-ordinate the environment of the shot in order to present the product in the best possible light, to make it attractive to the audience and clearly understood by them too, giving them the confidence to purchase. For multichannel businesses, particularly those selling in consumer sectors this process is highly influencial in determining the performance of their product in the market. |
